Aims and Scope

The aim of the journal is to advance contemporary legal scholarship, promote interdisciplinary research at the intersection of law, philosophy, and economics, and disseminate the results of scholarly studies that have both theoretical and practical value for the improvement of legal systems at national and international levels.

Starting from Vol. 6, No. 2, 2025, the editorial board has narrowed the journal’s scope.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  • Philosophical and legal studies Philosophical and ethical foundations of law; value-based principles of legal systems; philosophy of human rights; ethics of legal regulation of modern technologies; concepts of justice and legal order.
  • Economic, legal and socio-legal studies Legal analysis of economic processes; the impact of law on the functioning of economic systems; legal regulation of sustainable development; socio-economic transformations in the context of law; institutional foundations of interaction between the state, the market, and society.
  • Economic and financial law Legal regulation of the global economy; international trade and investment; financial markets and banking law; legal aspects of economic globalisation; regulation of the digital economy and new models of economic activity.
  • International and national law Theory and practice of international law; legal regulation of international relations; resolution of international conflicts; transformation of national legal systems in the context of globalisation and integration processes.
  • Human rights and socio-legal studies Protection of human rights in the context of global challenges; social justice in legal systems; migration and humanitarian law; legal regulation of inequality and social integration.
  • Law of the digital society Digital law; cybersecurity; personal data protection; legal aspects of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies; media and information law.
